IDEAL CANDIDATES
We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and wellness, and an excitement for hospitality.
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:
·Preparing accurate and timely, internal and external, financial reports for the company
·Financial reporting for all entities (Resort and Consolidated)
·Cash Maintenance including: daily cash deposits, employee bank maintenance, and providing change to employees)
·Ensuring all vendors are in the system with proper documentation
·Ensuring all invoices are entered, coded, and reconciled correctly
·Month end accruals
·Intercompany invoice payment/management
·Preparing and distributing 1099's to applicable vendors and contractors
·Ensuring credit card statements are properly coded and recorded
·Ensuring financial terms are met with vendors
·Assisting in preparation of monthly forecast
·Assisting in tracking company incentive and bonus plans
·Assisting in preparation of cash flow analysis
·Other reports as required
·Preparing reports and documentation for all audits; manage the outside auditors
·Annual audit, tax returns and preparation of K-1’s
·401(k) audit, Worker’s Compensation, etc.
·Monitoring the budget and work with the Director of Finance to guide compliance in each department
·Assisting in preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly tax filings
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
· At least 3 years of accounting/finance related experience
· Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
· Exceptional proficiency in Excel
· Strong PC skills to include Word, and back office/financial accounting systems
· Paylocity, M3, Opera knowledge preferred
